No apologies... or the big cat goes on a rant...

Post by Panther »

I'm the modern liberal's worst nightmare.

Why?

I like fast cars, beautiful sexy women, big motorcycles, juicy steak, loud music, fine cigars and powerful guns.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some mid-level governmental bureaucrat with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to some crack whore bastard factories.

China approaches our plane in international waters with fighter jets, crashes into it forcing us into an emergency landing, seizes our plane and holds our crewmen captive... and THEN demands an apology...
Then, our government GIVES them an apology!
Here's MY part of your apology China... YOU CAN ROT!

I'm not "in touch" with my "inner-child", I don't need to be because I'm an adult and I like it that way, dammit.
I can be an adult (with the responsibilities that entails) and STILL have fun and enjoy my life.

I believe no one has EVER died because of something Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T or Marilyn Manson sang.

I don't think owning a gun makes you a killer or gives you the uncontrollable urge to go on a playground rampage.

If you're afraid that your kids aren't safe in school, you need to turn off the damn TV and turn on your own personal responsibility for the well-being of your family. Conversation is an excellent way to find out if your kid is scared in school... it's also a good way, if you pay attention, to find out if your kid is the one scaring everyone else in school. You're the adult, act like it!

I believe it's called the Boy Scouts for a reason.

Japan uses a sneak attack on us, basically destroys Pearl Harbor killing thousands of American citizens, which forces us into WWII. We recently apologized to Japan for dropping the bomb on Hiroshima which helped to END the war which their aggression started.
Here's MY amendment to that apology... YOU CAN ROT TOO!

I don't think being a minority makes you noble OR victimized.

I don't celebrate Kwanzaa or any other psuedo-religious feel-good, made-up holidays. If I want to celebrate, being alive and free are plenty of reason. My religious beliefs are between me and MY Creator.

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, you'd better do it in English. And that road signs should be in English too, both the language AND the units of measurement.

I don't use the excuse "it's for the children" as a shield for unpopular opinions or actions.

I think Rosie and Oprah are big fat socialist pigs. They have the Right to spew their socialist rants all they want to, but I also have the Right to tell them to "stick it where the sun don't shine." They can join the Chinese and the Japanese as far as I'm concerned.

I think fireworks should be legal, especially on the 4th of July.

I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster or Burger King. In fact, if your parents are footing the bill to put your pansy @$$ through 4-7 years of liberal indoctrination commonly referred to as "college", you haven't begun to be enlightened.

I don't want to eat or drink anything with the words light, lite or fat-free on the package.

I eat red meat and I enjoy it. Being a vegitarian is a choice. If you want to make that choice, fine, but these canine teeth prove that eating meat is an instinct.

Hillary Clinton has a really bad case of penis-envy.

My heroes are My Daddy, John Wayne, Audey Murphy and whoever cancelled Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman (the Socialist B*tch!).

I don't hate the rich. I don't pity the poor. I plan on being rich and I'll work my @$$ off to keep from being poor... And that's the way it should be.

I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time arguing about it.

I think global warming is a big lie. Where were all those "experts" last winter, when I was freezing my @$$ off all those months?

I've never owned a slave, or was a slave. I didn't wander forty years in the desert after getting chased out of Egypt. I don't condone the Holocaust or hate anyone based on their religion, sex, sexual orientation, or skin color. I haven't burned any witches OR crosses. I haven't been persecuted by the Turks...
and neither have you, so shut-up already.

I want to know which church is it exactly where the Rev. Jessie Jackson preaches. And where he gets his money. And why is he always part of the problem and not the solution.

I think people have every right to defend themselves and the cops should help. And it doesn't make any difference what color you are. And if you don't want your sorry @$$ getting shot by a cop or an armed citizen, don't rob, mug, rape or murder... and don't run from them when they tell you to "freeze". And especially don't point something that looks like a gun at them. Then, you probably won't get shot by a cop or an armed citizen.

If you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.

I hate those bastards standing in the intersections trying to sell me crap or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause. These people should stop holding up traffic or else be considered valid speed-bumps.

I think if you are in the passing lane, and not passing, your license should be revoked, and you should be forced to walk or ride the bus until you promise to never delay the rest of us again.
And you can't read, put on make-up or discipline your brats while you're driving! Pull over for those things so the rest of us aren't wondering when you're going to lose control of your car and take-out a dozen other cars! And if you can't tune the radio or talk on the phone without moving out of your own lane, then sing or talk to yourself dammit!

I think adult entertainment is great. If you don't like it, be an adult and don't watch it. If you don't want your kids watching it and they are...
Then where-the-hell were YOU?

I enjoy watching auto racing and high speed pursuits -
the faster the speed or the greater the damage the better.

I don't believe in victimless crimes. If a man and woman want to get together and make a private business agreement for whatever services are to be provided, it's no one else's business, especially not the governments. And if someone wants to drink, smoke, do drugs or eat fatty junk food, that's also no one else's business.
If you don't want to wear a seatbelt or a helmet, that's fine, but don't expect the rest of us to take care of your sorry @$$ just because you've done something stupid and gotten bit by it. Bad ideas and habits will eventually be eliminated Darwinistically.
And if you think any of that is your business, then get a freakin' life, quit being a nosy @$$hole, and get over it!

I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes good parents... ideally two.

I think tattoos and piercings are fine if you want them, but please don't pretend they are a political statement. The same goes for long hair on men or butch-hair on women.

I think Dr. Seuss was a genius,
Claire Wolfe is an inspiration,
and James Carville is a loud-mouthed, moronic, Communist mole.
Fercryinoutloud! Put a sock in it Jim!

I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise.

I believe if she has her lips on your member, it is sex... PERIOD.
And it is sex for BOTH of you. This even applies when she is a fat pig with self-esteem issues, and you are a Socialist masquarading as President of the United States. "Is" means is, you dumb $hit.

And sometimes, I worry about dying before I get even.

So, if that makes me a bad American in the eyes of the modern liberals, then I'm guilty as charged.

And you'll get NO apology from me for it.

I will as soon as Fire Island is finally totally under water and the ocean is where the bay is now. Luckily, I am in the middle of the Island. I must be 200 feet above sea level Image.

Allen M-sempai,

Ummmm, I could say something completely un-PC, but since there are ladies reading these threads... oh what the heck...
I don't care who it is if they look that yummy from the back, I'll just make sure I keep looking from the back! Image

Mountain-top properties? I'm sitting on the side of a ridge at ~1200' above sea-level right now. With the windows open and the fan blowing softly, it's rather nice. This isn't global warming, as they say in the South, this is just a smidgin' of a warm spell... Image
And as they point out in New England, if you don't like the weather hang around for 15 minutes! Image

**Reader beware! Counter-rant with PC opinions below, read at your own risk.**

There is certainly a problem with PC takig over the world and proscribing certain viewpoints and people subscribing to PC viewpoints because they're mindless sheep. This article, however, is just holding a mirror to that. Being proud about being antiPC solely because its considered rude or boorish, not for any sensible reason. It's just an equally thoughtless antirant--not a voice against the repression. Some examples:

The welfare and china situations are a little more complicated than described. We apologized for their pilot dying and for landing without permission, not for hitting their plane or being there. And what, we were supposed to let china keep our people? Politics is the art of the possible.

Turning off victim's TV's wouldn't have saved the kids at Columbine; the problem was the other kids and their home life. Of course.

Hiroshima was a civilian target preserved from prior bombing so we could test our weapon and scare the USSR. The whole area is poisoned and many many have died after the initial firestorm from radiation effects. The destruction of whole cities from europe to japan has been demonstrated NOT to end wars. They were used to that. What may have been more significant is the russians poised to invade resulting in destruction of the japanese culture, coupled with the futility of their fight. See articles in New Yorker and Civilization and few years back. Did anyone know we were planning to put a siren on the bomb so people would look up and we'd see how easy they were to blind? What if it was YOUR suburb, your family member irradiated burned and dead?

Being a minority doesn't make you victimized, but let's not pretend racism is dead or that minorities don't face disproportionate poverty.

The english system of measurement is profoundly stupid (how many square feet in an acre or hectare?) and we're one of the very last nations i the universe to embarrass ourselves by using it. Our country doesn't have a national language. It was, however, built by immigrants. If you don't want a big mac served in spanish in CA, for example, don't go to largely spanish areas and expect to pay a heck of a lot more for your lawn care and catering because immigrants prop up a large part of that economy working substandard wages.

Hmmm. My "pansy @$$" is glad I went to college. The antieducation rant almost sounds like the problem some minorities have in the inner city--mocking those who do well in school. But mocking that would have made a nice addition to this list. Ironic.

Don't want to eat healthy? Die then. But don't complain about medical costs since you basically asked for it.

You have molars too, and your canine's are tiny, nothing like a carnivore's. Fact is your dentition is about as unspecialized as they come. Teeth don't define instincts and instincts don't define right, anyway.

Penis envy is a pretty well discarded freudian concept that assumes women are basically defective.

Global warming is real, according to the bulk of climatologists. They were out looking at the end of permafrost in some areas, and the decreasing arctic habitat for many animals, and they were remembering global warming is about the rise of a mean, and substantial deviation occurs from that all the time in both directions; one cold spell is nothing.

Most people aren't willing to discount the deaths and assaults on minority suspects from police with humor. Diallo was shot at 41 times; he was unarmed. Another black male was killed by undercover cops who attempted to sell him drugs which he refused, thinking they were thugs. Another black male with a milky way walked thru a stakeout unknowingly and was shot on sight. The officer didn't apologize. At some point it sounds like a trend and we all know not to second guess the actions of a terrified person not knowing what is happening, by blaming them for .2 second decisions after 6 months of investigation.

Ballot humor... if disenfranchisement is funny, at least, next time let's make sure the ballot errors benefit each candidate equally.

Damage from high speed pursuits often involves innocent bystanders hurt or killed. I'm not laughing.

What are you going to do with a car accident victim, unbelted, that now needs medical care for life that may have avoided it if the law said to wear the belt? Feed him/her to dogs? Belt laws, helmet laws save lives and families and public $, just like safety standards and road railing.

Thoughtless anti-PC is no better than thoughtless PC, IMNSHO. ON THE OTHER HAND, thoughtful anything, including anti-PC is just great.

Ooooooohhhhh... This should be good. Somehow, I just knew I could count on you Ian.

When you say "very sorry" that is an apology. We know it, the Chinese know it, and the entire world knows it. 'Nuf said.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
And what, we were supposed to let china keep our people? Politics is the art of the possible.
Yep. That's their job and they know it. I know it sounds cold, but the fact is that the plane should have been ditched, preventing the enemy from gaining access to our technology... but then again, they already had the technology. It was sold to them by the Clinton Administration.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Turning off victim's TV's wouldn't have saved the kids at Columbine; the problem was the other kids and their home life. Of course.
Go back and reread what was written. Then when you understand it, you'll realize how off base this response is.

Hiroshima was a civilian target preserved from prior bombing so we could test our weapon and scare the USSR. The whole area is poisoned and many many have died after the initial firestorm from radiation effects.
OK, Ian... When was the last time you visited that area of Japan? And on the off chance that you have, how many survivors and their offspring did you talk to about it?

(FYI#1: I visited in the winter of 1990. FYI#2: I talked for six hours in the waiting area of a hotel with four families... including one actual survivor and nearly a dozen offspring of residents during the Hiroshima bombing.)

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
The destruction of whole cities from europe to japan has been demonstrated NOT to end wars.
Well, dropping the bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki are demonstrated counter-examples. It's true that Hiroshima was a secondary target that was used because of a lack of visibility over the primary target.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
They were used to that. What may have been more significant is the russians poised to invade resulting in destruction of the japanese culture, coupled with the futility of their fight.
So, from this perspective, the Japanese should be thanking us for dropping the bomb, since we essentially saved their culture from destruction by the Soviets.

You're upset because someone wanted to do something like this? The purpose was to kill them and you're upset because someone was thinking about blinding them?!?!

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
What if it was YOUR suburb, your family member irradiated burned and dead?
Thus is the nature of war, my youthful "PC" friend. I guess that we should have tried to negotiate more... since Pearl Harbor, Bataan and Nanking were such humanitarian examples from our adversaries. Image

ROTFLMAO! (But I'll get to that in a minute... see below under the education reply...)

43,560 square feet. Just because you don't know the units of measurement for your own country doesn't mean others don't. (And no I did not have to look it up... I've known that since I learned it in grade school.)

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote

It's only an embarassment that some of our own people don't learn these basics in school anymore.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Our country doesn't have a national language. It was, however, built by immigrants.
Yes. Immigrants who moved here (such as some of my ancestors) and learned the language in order to become a part of and take advantage of the vast opportunites offered by this great nation! The prevalent business language in the world and the prevalent language in this country is English...

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
If you don't want a big mac served in spanish in CA, for example, don't go to largely spanish areas and expect to pay a heck of a lot more for your lawn care and catering because immigrants prop up a large part of that economy working substandard wages.
And if you don't want to learn the prevalent business language of the world and the U.S., then don't b*tch about the fact that you have substandard wages and must pay more for... wait a minute! I can't afford professional lawncare OR catering! I guess they aren't doing so damn bad after all, huh...

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Hmmm. My "pansy @$$" is glad I went to college. The antieducation rant almost sounds like the problem some minorities have in the inner city--mocking those who do well in school. But mocking that would have made a nice addition to this list. Ironic.
Yes it would be... and I see that the place you refer to as "college" did it's job of modern liberal socialist indoctrination well... I wasn't mocking those that do well in school. I would be happy to put my academic career head to head with yours. That wasn't the point. The point was that thinking you are "enlightened" because you have that academic career/degree does not mean you are enlightened.

*** But I gotta tell you the reason I laughed my tushy off (I've got plenty left) about your comments concerning the metric system vs. U.S. measurements... and that is your wishing for the metric system and not realizing that a hectare is a metric measurement! It's 10,000 square meters! (as opposed to a square kilometer which is 1,000,000 square meters...) I'm sorry, what was that again about going to college? Image

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote

Hmmmmm.... guess we should change the banner so it shows the teeth. Image And sometimes instincts do define what is right for some being at a given point in time... sometimes those instincts are the only thing that defines a given point in time.

Since we're 10,000+ years overdue for an ice-age, I welcome global warming if it is real.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Most people aren't willing to discount the deaths and assaults on minority suspects from police with humor. Diallo was shot at 41 times; he was unarmed.
Here's another one... Did you get the opportunity to talk with one of the forensic investigators on the Diallo case? Do you know how that went down, why it occurred, what happened? (besides what you were spoon-fed by the visual toilet?) Someday when you and I both have the time, we'll go over how that unfortunate incident occurred. There's a reason the officer's weren't convicted of a crime. Regardless of the media "PC" feeding frenzy, some things are just tragic mistakes.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Another black male was killed by undercover cops who attempted to sell him drugs which he refused, thinking they were thugs. I'm the first person to be critical of bad cops or bad people... Agree that those were bad things and the people responsible should be held personally accountable. But they aren't what was being referred to in the original post. What was being referred to (since it seems you need it spelled out for you), is the kid, with a rap-sheet a mile and a half long, who is in the middle of a drug deal with his fellow gang-members and gets shot by a rival gang in a drive-by shooting and then all of the sudden the snooze media, 'friends' and naturally 'family' come out of the woodwork to talk about what a great 'future' this thug had... that (s)he was a 'straight-A student', went to chuch and carried his grandmomma's groceries... that it is just such a horrible waste of a life. Sorry, but that life was wasted long before the kid met his maker... And even though you can pull a few bad examples out (I would bet I have even more examples than you do) of someone who is innocent getting killed by a cop, the fact is that your chances of getting shot by a cop are less than getting hit by lightening... TWICE! What's even more important is that your chances of getting shot by a lawful citizen are ONE ELEVENTH that of being shot by a cop! Those are the facts. And it's pretty obvious that if you want to lower those chances even further, then you shouldn't rape, rob, mug, break-in, murder, or commit other crimes.

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Ballot humor... if disenfranchisement is funny, at least, next time let's make sure the ballot errors benefit each candidate equally.
Bush won. Bush won the first recount. Bush won the second recount. Bush won the third through sixth recounts... and it was only by the most shaky grounds that Gore won the seventh recount by a handful of votes...

Using the reasons given by those you claim were "disenfranchised" (and the lawsuit had to be dropped because it was found that none of the plaintiffs could have possibly been affected by the things they claimed to be affected by... Image ), I don't want lying, stupid people to pick who's leading the most powerful nation on the planet! Your Socialist, Utopian leader LOST! And I didn't vote for either ONE of them!

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Damage from high speed pursuits often involves innocent bystanders hurt or killed. I'm not laughing.
I'm not laughing either... I think high-speed chases are neat. If you want to protect innocent bystanders, have the police stand-down and not pursue... simple. (That should happen about the same time Global Warming causes us all to turn into charcoal. Image )

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
What are you going to do with a car accident victim, unbelted, that now needs medical care for life that may have avoided it if the law said to wear the belt?
Insurance? (Want to get into insurance reforms, that's another topic and you'd be surprised where I am on that issue...)

<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote
Feed him/her to dogs?
My dogs like their meat a little fresher than that...

Hey, thanks! Why pay all that money for road railing either? If you're stupid enough to drive so fast that you lose it off the side of a cliff, too bad! (BTW, been there done, done that! Image ) Safety standards... that goes back to product liability, which is a different issue.
