Welcome.
The dojo my son attends in Philadelphia is aligned with Master Thompson in Kalamazoo. They drive out there for their Dan tests.
It's pretty much the same Uechi Ryu that I've been taught down here in Florida, but there are several interesting drills which are new to me that have really peaked my son's interest and have kept him engaged in his training the past four or five years.
Hope to hear from you.

There is much to make of every moment.
I'm living in South Haven and studying under Rocky Watson at his home. His future plans are to build a school. I have only been doing this for about two months and cant get enough of it. I really enjoy this forum and learning as much as I can. When I,m ready to test for my yellow belt Rocky will take me to Kalamazoo for testing. Or he said he can do it. If I remember correctly Rocky studied under Master Thompson, and he is working on going to Kalamazoo to test for more Dan rank.
Any advice from you higher ranked folks is very welcome.
