Seems as though Tia and I have adapted very well to the South. All of a sudden, I've had this insatiable need to play Hank Williams Jr. songs.... over and over and over...

I have loved some women..... and I have loved Jim Beam... an' they both tried to kill me.... back in 1973... when my Doctor asked me..son.. how'd ya get yourself in this condition... I say hey saw bones I'm just a carryin on an ol' faaaaaamilly tradition..... so dont ask me Hank....whyyyyyyy do you drink... Hank, whyyyy do you roll smoke???? Why, must you live out the songs that you wrote? Stop and think it over try and put yourself in my unique position... I say leave me alone, I'm just a caryin on an old faaaaamily tradion.

Bonus question: How many bags of garbage can they fit into the back of their vehicle and how long do they leave the garbage in the back of their vehicle before dropping it off at the dump?

It took me a while to get used to it, and now I'm one of those people who smile and say Hi to complete strangers. I get some funny looks when I do that up North.

I drove into the parking lot of the dojo last week and my space up front was still empty. The rest of the lot looked like the parking lot of a truck dealer. My little Miata sure looked small next to those huge Pickup trucks!

I drive a mid-size Dodge Dakota Sport with an extended cab and a locked lid over the truck bed.

The garbage rides up front with me when I take it to the dumpster.

I got too much stuff in the back: cross nets front and back with three bo and three oars hung in the webbing; a very large gear bag with mui thai pads, focus mitts and bag gloves; two jump ropes; instructional tapes, 3 vynal notebooks, cd's and DVD's. A kobudo gearbag with 2 sets of nunchuku, 2 sets of sai, jiffa, and two tonfa sets. A karate gearbag with towel, sparring gloves, shin pads, head gear, mouth piece. And a plastic suit bag for two white gi and an instructior's trimmed gi, along with two black kobudo gi.

If I had a valet, she'd have to share the back seat of the cab with the tire iron and jack!
