I hate it when I'm right...

This is Dave Young's Forum.
Can you really bridge the gap between reality and training? Between traditional karate and real world encounters? Absolutely, we will address in this forum why this transition is necessary and critical for survival, and provide suggestions on how to do this correctly. So come in and feel welcomed, but leave your egos at the door!

I remember a line from "The Simpsons" once where an old man froze himself in Apu's freezer with a note pinned to him stating;
"Wake me when robot wives are both cheap and plentiful."

I won't post the link(s), but let's just say that it's not too hard to find if one was into that sort of thing..

The "inflatable companion" with "receptacles" has been around way too long.

Sigh... If you don' understand the joy of the chase, you just bloody don't get it. If you don't appreciate individuality, you just bloody don't get it.

But behavior modification... Now that's an expertise I could use a little more of.

It's gone way farther than that, Bill.
It's a regular industry now, and they've got it down to a science.

No you don't, Van. You like the chase just like the next guy. ;)

It's the bitching that we can do without.

That visual however is a bit... er... interesting. 8)

Hint: Men are not the managers of a relationship.
We are horrible at it, we don't know how, we were never trained, we dont want the job, and any attempt we make to mangage the relationship will always end badly.

So, in effect, "bitching" can be negated by one simple act:

"Do not argue with the management."

No problem. I'm a great believer in division of labor.

But of course.

However_ once you catch and 'settle' _ and things inevitably begin to change >> you take the best of what triggered the chase to begin with_ and the best of the 'good' changes_ then do a Vulcan mind transfer into 'Stepford' and dump the rest.
