More insane religious fun.

This is Dave Young's Forum.
Can you really bridge the gap between reality and training? Between traditional karate and real world encounters? Absolutely, we will address in this forum why this transition is necessary and critical for survival, and provide suggestions on how to do this correctly. So come in and feel welcomed, but leave your egos at the door!

Religious fanaticism of any kind breeds evil people willing to harm others in their distorted belief in their God.

That they would use the burial of a soldier and a son to promote their beliefs is disgusting.

They're just a byproduct of the media. Schoolshooting are similarly capable of traveling the airways... these incidents wouldn't just spring into people's minds unless they heard about the fuss somewhere else. The Phelps do something outrageous to get airtime, and what does the media do? Gives them exactly what they want. And you can see what a fool this nutjob made of the supposed fox "reporter," although I admire her spunk.

This would die down if they merely reported that "demonstrators" were at funerals "protesting" and that there was legislation afoot to stop it, that faced some free speech hurdles. Another way to manage them is to turn their protests against them--this is what gay groups did, they collected pledges to donate more money for every minute these losers paraded. Works like a charm.
