No steering wheel, you drive it with a joystick. No pedals either. Can you drive with a joystick? Your kids and grandkids probably can.

The influence of video games in our lives has really arrived, wouldn't ya say?

Yes, I can drive with a joystick. Heck, I used to "drive" with the keyboard, but I think actually putting something like that in a car is something that could only have been dreamed up by a bunch of old guys (who can't) trying to figure out what young people might like. The video gaming industry is just making do with the generic controller already on the system--nobody especially LIKES driving with it, and fortunately, when you twitch the wrong way you don't actually die when you swerve out of your lane into oncoming traffic. A truly innovative control system would somehow make the car seem like a natural extension of the human body, which a joystick doesn't. Note how the new Wii controller works, detecting and responding to a broader range of inputs, including (but not limited to) gross motor movements. That's a glimpse of the real future, IMO, not joysticks.

But aside from the questionable joystick steering and controls, how do you like the car?

If I could afford one, chances are I'd just park it in the garage and look at it! :)

I'm not the best guy to ask about looks. I'd be more interested in the handling than the looks, but the interior does look interesting. For some reason the interior reminds me of a Star Trek shuttle craft.

The 1910 Baker electric used a swing out stick to steer with.

The car is fine but those rims are the ugliest thing I've ever seen.
