"Never said you said it, all I said was that your the kind of guy that "would" say something LIKE IT/THAT."

I see, a sort of creative quote pseudoattribution. Makes a point for you but at the same time, you never really said anything. If your points about sneaky message delivery from mainstream media are correct, at least you're learning something!

Nope, there was nothing "sneaky" about it.

It was a pretty BLUNT illustration of your self-contridictory statements and expressed attitudes.

Its also noteworthy that you focus so much on this---yet ignore the whole "soft" bias methods I also pointed out.

The very real dangers and inherant dishonesty of "mainstream" media pretending that they have no personal bias or agenda.
And presenting themselevs as objective people merely reporting the facts.
Forget #6, you are now serving nonsense.

But unfortunatly, seems that many people look at the news this way....all news, despite obvious bias on various stations.

I agree, that is a serious mistake.

Often times people seek out that which seems to confim a pre-developed bais/attitude/outlook, rather than gather the relevent facts and THEN developing an opinion.

Its often said that people, far from being "rational" beings are "rationalIZING" beings.

I tend to side with "trust by verify" :)

Maybe its a sign of his insight into this problem that Bush doesn't bother to read any papers.

Of course not IJ, Bush is an idiot everyone knows that.

I'm sure that your grades in Harvard and Yale were MUCH better than his were. ;)

A point of clarification here...

Cxt is right. People love to characterize Bush as an idiot. GW and the English language aren't exactly friends.

But his undergrad at Yale (handicapped by 12-ounce curls on a regular basis) and his stint at the top MBA program in the country are nothing to sneeze at. The truth is that his mind runs circles around most of the partisan pompous asses who like to characterize him as an idiot. He must be an idiot, because he doesn't agree with my brilliant view of the political landscape!

That being said...

Ian's no slouch either. He's one of only two people I know of who had no problem practicing and teaching karate while going to medical school. And he did it while getting top grades, and managed to get a residency at Beth Israel hospital in that whole Harvard medical center area.

That's not too shabby either. 8)

Enough already... Time to get back to the caricatures.

But if most news networks are like this down south then.......

well if i were you, id be freaked out or very angry overall.

Daaaamn.
Adam,

Fox News has become one of the major news providers in the USA and outsells all the other cable and network news programs.

So to make a video to make Fox look bad is typical.

I watch for and other networks to come to my own opinion on the news. However, I find that Fox actually have both sides of the story represented. Not just with people who are supposed to be on opposite sides of the issues.

There are some great debates on Fox which I do not find on other programs.

The adage"don't believe everything you read!" can be given here too!

Take care,

I hope that your studies are going well?
