So dana white IS human.

He's usually very strict in not letting his fighters fight in other promotions.

But he's letting cro-cop fight in japan to bring back his confidence, and will let him back into the UFC to compete against Nog and others.

Though im really happy my favriote fighter basically is coming back...why didn't he let Fedor do the same thing? None of those sambo guys can touch him really.

Addressing several question marks surrounding him, Filipovic stated that he is physically and mentally recovered from his recent disappointments in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

He said that he didn’t really like the experience of fighting the cage and prefers fighting in a ring. Filipovic did state, however, that he would like to eventually return to the UFC and avenge his losses to Gabriel Gonzaga and Cheick Kongo.

Many rumors have swirled around Filipovic’s recent absence from the UFC with fingers pointing in both directions, but sources close to the situation indicate that his leaving the UFC to return to fight in Japan was amiable.

As of the time of publication, the UFC has not made an official announcement in regards to Filipovic’s contract status.

Don't hold back so much Coleman...

-------------------

Kevin Randleman:

"My first response is oh well. I am not fighting in the UFC so it really doesn't matter to me one way or the other. Alot of people didn't believe in him anymore but he is good enough to win in the UFC. It takes time to adjust to the cage. I don't think it is good or bad for the sport and I am really not surprised that he left."

Mark Coleman:

"Basically, I could really care less. it was his choice, he came into the UFC and got whipped and now he left. I wouldn't say that I am suprised but now he is going to have to live with coming in, getting smashed and not finishing the job."

Bas Rutten:

"I feel bad to hear that he is leaving because I really wanted to see the Cro Cop that I knew from Japan because I think that he wasn't the same Cro Cop in the UFC, so I can understand if he wants to go to another organization. God Speed!!"

Confidence and winning can't be underplayed.

I note in basketball how a team that loses will very often lose again. And at least part of it - I believe - is related to the act of winning or losing. We know for instance that the winner(s) of a contest will get a testosterone surge. Why? Who knows... Maybe it's good for the species for a "winner" to go procreate. But that endogenous anabolic hormone surge works as well as - if not better than - an exogenous source in terms of performance enhancement.

Let him go to Japan and whup some butt. It'll be good for what ails him. 8)
