How is boxing a boxer in a boxing match going to prove MMA's complexity? Now if this was an MMA fight, okay i get it. But boxing a boxer? Risky.


That said, IF silva somehow manages to pull tihs off, then that would really be a big chance for major promotion for MMA.

I wonder if they will make half the rounds boxing, and half of it MMA? Thats what they did in K1 with bob sapp vs lebanner(that was funny)

I can't imagine anyone letting Roy into an octagon with Silva under MMA rules. Even pro MMA fighters are terrified of the man. Jones would literally die.

Yeah, Silva is like the middle weight fedor.

What kind of fight would it be?

I would really be interested if it was muay thai rules, that way, no fighter will have a single disadvantage. Silva can utilize his clinch, and Jones may be able to box(assuming he doesn't get freaked out by leg kicks)
