On October 14, 2008 at 10:38 am, we welcomed our beautiful baby daughter into the world. She is named Karen, in honor of Shana's mother. She was 10 lbs, 3 oz and 20 3/4 inches long. I am currently unable to attach pictures (time, lack of sleep, etc, but she has a full head of hair, that is currently a dark auburn with blond highlights and dark blue eyes (we'll see if either stay that way!).

The three of us are now home, as the birth was via cesearan section, and are recuperating, adjusting, and loving the time together. Life is an AMAZING miracle and gift!!
