To protect and defend.....

This is Dave Young's Forum.
Can you really bridge the gap between reality and training? Between traditional karate and real world encounters? Absolutely, we will address in this forum why this transition is necessary and critical for survival, and provide suggestions on how to do this correctly. So come in and feel welcomed, but leave your egos at the door!

Fred,

--quote--I fondly remember walking home during the blizzard of 1978 Mike. We were tougher then.--unquote--

Oh yeah, we were really tough. I remember walking to school and back home, up hill, both ways, in my bare feet (we were very poor), while helping poor stranded people in the cars you portrayed. Then I went to the dojo (Ahhh, the Grange Hall). And we were thankful!!

John,

You are way too old! I was in junior high school when snow was still fun.

I don'r remember you at the Grange Hall that night.
You were probably at the disco.

My mom actually worked at the hospital and they picked her up in a snow mobile and took her to work, true story!
Those were the days....

Better for John, trapped in a sorority house probably.
