Well... somebody went through a lot of trouble to create what appears to be the work of an illusionist.

Yea, yea, it could have happened. However, that right hand went out of camera range just long enough for the fellow to put some kind of fake thingie on the back of his hand. The blood pattern on the back of his hand was instantly created and instantly hardened? I don't think so...

The "Ta da!" at the end hardly sounds like the voice of someone who just did permanent, disabling damage to his right hand.
