Anybody know Nathan Wender in Richmond?

I was looking on the pages for contact information but didn't find any. Whenever we resurrect the Mid-Atlantic workouts it'd be nice to invite him.

You got me, Dana. You'd think we would have bumped into each other by now.

I'm wondering what his nonmartial training is. He's not a medical person, as evidenced by his demonstration of what the quadriceps allegedly do. But lots of Chi Gung exposure here. I've often said I can listen to someone like this, squint my eyes, translate, and come up with something useful. In-between the pieces on energy flow, he's basically talking simple principles of posture and body mechanics.

That is however a very different understanding of opening/closing of the qua than what I have been shown. He actually wasn't doing that at all; he was just rotating his pelvis a tad. Not sure where he got all that from.

Do you know who his teacher is?

Nope.

I couldn't figure out how to contact him on his website or I'd have emailed him directly.

I understand that he is/was a student of Evan Pantazi.

Thanks. That explains a lot.
