FWIW, the ninjustu folks have yet another way to step - presumably so as not to make noise. Again... come by some time. I have a student who can show you.
Well, that is great news, Bill. Either it is Jason or Crystal. If Crystal is back in class, welcome back, Crystal. She is the only one I know of in our class who has had a fair amount of time in Ninjutsu training. Did Jason train in this also?

Could you have her/him show the class that quiet stepping one day? I would love to learn that if it is more stealth than what we do.

...if you are back, Crystal, hope your training is going well with Bill. That is a win/win situation for both of you, I'm sure. You can finally get back to training and he can get you to start the children's class.

Regards,
Vicki

Crystal is our only resident ninjutsu practitioner.

The stepping method she was taught has caused her all kinds of minor orthopedic issues. It just goes to show that we martial artists don't always know what we are doing. One should always process information as it is taken in. Not everything out there in the martial domain works well with our bodies. I'm not ready to condemn the method, but... No thanks for me.

...so, then will you show it or Crystal?

Is Crystal back in class now so she can share?

You also have Victoria A. to help with things. She is an amazing addtion to your class. You are blessed to have two good women in Victoria and Crystal. I honestly hope you get them both up and running as instructors as soon as possible.

I truly wish you, your students, and your dojo well in all that you do.

Regards,
Vicki

Keep that attitude up and those angry young Uechi girls (pic I sent you) are going to shoken you like a voodoo doll.
