Uechi-ryu foot techniques (Kiyohide)

Hope it helps..
He's a beast, Stevie. They don't make many like him. Effortless core mechanics, and devastating tiger's teeth.

How about sniperdoc's critique of Kiyohide San on the video? Apparently he missed the point, no?

Interesting seeing the foot angle he uses for his sokusen, as well as the marks he leaves on the makiwara when sticking it. It confirms a way of executing it that I find helpful. That was a very useful video. Thanks.

So you were the one who put the hole in the flack jacket, eh?

Hahaha... I wish I could take credit for that... I did however give Sensei many hours of entertainment!!!  Every Friday night before we hit the snacks, one of his favorite things was to make me extend my Sokusen out so he could whack the end of my toe with a 2x2.. I don't know whether it was my pained expression, or the whines I let out.. But he would laugh out loud the whole time..

Well, Stevie, I'm glad you were a source of entertainment for your teacher.

Keep working on putting more holes in that flack jacket. ;)
