Thanks for finding and posting this, Victor!

I've had several opportunities to work out with Gushi Sensei. He's a great karateka and a good man. What I like in particular about him is a few of the application ideas he's added to the syllabus of Uechi practice material. Some of his unique bunkai make a lot more sense than the "standard" material.

Hidden in one of those videos (Seichin kata & Bunkai) is his own version of "Dan kumite". I frankly like it more than the standard which is taught and is a standard in many Uechi related organizations. I still have many of my own preferences when it comes to receiving attacks and the exercise is still just a classroom exercise, but his version has many more ippon finishes to the techniques. Most of those ippons he's added are the highlights of the sequences.

As i almost automatically track the world's youtube martial video (almost not everything) it's a pleasure to share Uechi videos with you.

I find these sharing of mutual value.
