I also wish to extend my congratulations to Fedele for his promotion to Renshi 6th Dan, and award of Shihan title by his sensei Jim Hulse at yesterday's event in Natick.

Fedele is a dedicated and higly skilled Uechi-Ka, and it was indeed a pleasure to see him promoted.

Fedele will also test at this year's summer camp for the same rank and title within the IUKF organization.

All the best Fedele.

Hello.

I wish to express my sincere congratulations to Fedele Sensei on his promotion. Fedele just as his sensei is one of the very best Uechi Ryu practitioners I know. I truly enjoy training with him whenever I have the opportunity. I just wish I could have attended the promotional, but unfortunately I could not.

Take care,
Jay Sal

Hi Tracy,

Great to see you visiting here, hope all is well. The Master rank tests at summer camp are held on Saturday evening after dinner. Feel free to visit camp on that day well in advance of the celebrations.

Hope to see you.

Fedele was one of my first students and my first Shodan.

He has always worked hard and shown a dedication to everything he has done.

It has been a pleasure to watch him grow into the superb teacher and student that he has become whilst on loan to you guys in Boston.

A strong, powerful Uechi practitioner of whom I am very proud.

Congratulations on such a convincing grading where all of your fellow brits took pride in watching you.

It was a trip down memory lane when I was giving you the sanction test. The last time I gave him a sanction test was at a demonstration where a lady shouted at him to it me back and called me a bully! I'm sure it was his mother.

Well done mate from all of us.

Jim

I am so happy to hear that my good friend has been promoted to 6th degree Renshi. No one in Uechi-ryu deserves it more.
I should be at summerfest on Saturday sometime. I am looking forward to seeing his test.

I apologize for this late response as I don't often get a chance to brows the forums.
I just stumbled upon this thread and have to say that I am really touched to hear my friends talk about me in this way. I thank you all for your kind words and would like to thank Sensei Jim Hulse for planting the seed that aloud me to grow and to Sensei's Van Canna and George Matson for keeping me honest.
I owe so much to many fantastic instructors that I have worked out under over the years as well as hundreds of training partners that have all helped to get me to where I am today. I look forward to working out with you all in the future and look forward to testing again at the Summer Camp!

Hi Fedele,

I know this is late, but I don't check in as much as I used to. Congratulations on the promotion. I don't know of anyone who deserves it more. I'm proud to call you a friend and fellow Uechi practitioner!!

Respectfully yours,

Mike
