Joe is stable at present and even able to go out for the weekend when he feels like it. He is still undergoing treatments and will have another MRI in a month to six weeks. We will know much more at that time. Joe is doing better than anyone expected.

I got very bad news today that Joe Lewis's Brain Cancer has aggressed into Bone Cancer in his hip and shoulder!
We need Joe's friends to pray for him now more than ever...miracles happen everyday and we need one now!

In lieu of the current development and gravity of the situation with Joe Lewis, the JLFS is regrettably canceling the 13th Annual Joe Lewis Research Conference scheduled September 27-30 in Tampa FL.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that we may be causing and hope that you can understand our situation. Please understand the focus and undivided attention of the JLFS is currently being d...irected towards the care of Mr. Lewis.

Again, we apologize for having to make the hard decision on canceling this year's conference. We hope you continue to keep Joe in your prayers daily.

Uechi Ryu Karate Do..... Do= Michi= Path or road to be traveled..I myself lost my Sempai David Powell to Cancer a few years ago. I didn't even know until mason gave me news of it about 2 years ago... Lucky for joe, he has good people surrounding him with a lot of spiritual strength!!! I will place my bets that he kicks the big canolli's ass, just like he's whipped so much ass before!!! Stay strong Robb..
