Democrats and republicans, they are all horrible, with the presidents, senators and reps at the top of the list.

Everyone has to join a team. Seems no one can just think for themselves, freedom is an illusion and we live in a universe created by political and economic buzzwords. There is always an enemy, provided to us by our well meaning friends. The advent of the internet has exposed the fact that our minds are in a constant state of reaction. Advertising agencies use this principle to sell us poison by confronting us with symbols evoking fear and envy. Divide and conquer, and so we become the ally of our enemy.

Let's be clear... This is NRA political propaganda vs. socialist central control activism and 2nd amendment infringement. Like arguments about abortion, the spectacle is never pretty.

I happen to fall on the Jeffersonian belief that central control usually results in unintended consequences. Liberals like to think they have evolved emotional intelligence, and yet constantly find themselves on the side of government interventions which **** up the very problems they're trying to solve. A classic example is Johnson's Great Society programs which are largely responsible for the breakup of the black family unit. One can look in prisons and think judges are racist, when really the driving factor is whether or not there's a father at home when junior was an adolescent. And why should a young stud marry that "ho" when the state will pick up the tab for his offspring? Sounds like a deal to me! Screw this shotgun wedding business, right? But no... the helping hand solved a problem in the short run, and created a bigger, intractable problem decades down the road. Oopsie! "Welfare reform" under Clinton (only a Democrat could do this without being called Satan by liberals) undid some of this mess, but the scars of it all exist decades later.

Whenever I can, I tell young people to watch this entertaining experiment. You may think this is just a cute video, but it's just as profound as any Grimm's Fairy Tale. Watch it and tell me what you think.

..... kids vs cookies

I'm happy that this elderly would-be victim turned out not to be. And I'm happy we have one of the good guys fighting for the Constitutional rights that our Founding Fathers crafted for us.
