Two kinds of idiots

Postby fivedragons » Thu Mar 27, 2014 5:49 pm

First, there is the criminal, who thinks that things will go his way. He is used to dealing with victims, people are scared of him, because he acts like he is above them. He thinks he has power, but he doesn't realize that his "power" has been given to him by people who don't understand what drives him. The criminal doesn't want to meet the one who sees through him.

Then, there is the black belt, who thinks that things will go his way. He is used to dealing with white belts, they are scared of him, because he acts like he is above them. He thinks he has power, but he doesn't realize that his "power" has been given to him by people who don't understand what drives him. The black belt doesn't want to meet the one who sees through him.

I'm careful to avoid idiot group 1. I've come across idiots in group 2. They're rare in the Uechi world from my experience, but when I've come across them, I then avoid them.

One great post by 5-D.

True about no.2 being somewhat rare in Uechi...but they are there, and when you meet one you are actually meeting two, he and his teacher.

I am fond of telling the story about those black belt idiots who went to the Boston combat zone to pick a fight in order to prove their 'superior Uechi'...

Well, you can guess the ending.

Van: "and when you meet one you are actually meeting two, he and his teacher."

That could go for both. 8)

if your not smart enough to be concerned for your well being then your deluded or ignorant or both .

if you haven't worked out how easy it is to mess someone up you haven't learnt a lot .

Van said, "when you meet one you are actually meeting two, he and his teacher."

Damn, that's good.

Great original post. Spot on.

Well Stryke, there are some Uechi people who really believe that their training has turned them into this
