A question came up on Elkins-Sifu's Crossing The Bridge Forum which I had addressed extensively in an archived post. I refered him to the post, but is there a way I could retrieve just the one post itself and mail it to him rather than send him the whole thread or force him to look it up?

How about using the old standby, "copy" and "paste"?

I wasn't kidding about my no belt status - I don't know how that's done.

Student-san,
First - you need to find the post you want. Go to the forum where you had the post (if you remember it - if not I think you can still find it) and look up in the top right hand corner - under the "post reply" button - you will see search - click on that and follow the instructions to find the thread - or a list of threads containing the search criteria you give.
Then click on the thread you want - you may need to use the "back" button a few times till you find the right thread. Lots of times the thread title doesn't match exactly the different tacks that happen inside...
Once you've got the thread in front of you - look up near the top left side of the forum page - you will see "UBB Friend"or some such thing that lets you email that thread to someone. Click on the little letter icon, type in the email address and away you go!
Hope that helps!
Peace,
Lori
