Windows Media Player 7.0

Post by Scott Danziger »

I just downloaded and ran Windows Media Player 7.0 beta. This thing blows away anthing Realplayer has. It is fantastic. And, it plays streaming video much quicker than 6.4 plus if you want to play it back, it kicks right back in allowing you to place the slider where you want. Even on a unix system. It also plays from your drive, radio shows from the net, and lots more I haven't even begun to check out.

I'm also noticing that us poor modem users can select the higher grade download of streamer. You just have to let it buffer a bit first then press play. You can watch the data buffer in on a bar and watch the play slide catch up. The more you load in though the better and longer you see the higher quality streamer.
