Yes, Allen, Windows 2000 also has a blue scream, er screen, of death.
Decided to bite the bag after finally getting hardware issues resolved and started to download Service Pack 1 for Windows 2000. I don’t know why I did that, I really don’t! Well, the bag bit back and although a little different hue than NT blue, and much less accompanying white text, Windows 2000 has a blue screen of death all-rightie.
Should have read the little cartoon taped to my monitor first which says that the time for an upgrade is when the system is working perfectly. It MUST have been working perfectly.
As salty tears make concentric ripples in my cold morning’s coffee, I shakenly babble out loud and unclearly: “I not now, nor ever will, have an interest in SP1 for W2000. W2000 works fine as it came out of the box. No alterations, no how, no way; unh unhhu!”

Who me? Oh, no. I'm having a ripe good ole putzing time.....
Breathe in, breathe out. Focus. Let the blood return down to the heart from behind and above the eyeballs. Compose.
I don't dare count sheep. I'd probably shoot them righ about now.
<hr>
Started when the hardware people who replaced the KT7 motherboard yesterday and needlessly monkeyed with my os as well.
Next weekend, or later, I will rebuild my oses, but I was able to reset myself and will be able to cripple along till then as long as I tan withstand the slowness of booting to an ide.
If I had my way, I'd build the os into a chip for instant starts.
See where Whistler wants to debut by this time next year, Tony?
