Overuse injury

Post by emattson »

One risk of conditioning is overuse injuries. Many people confess pounding their arms and legs too hard, exercising too extreme, resulting in injuring themselves. Today's society is way too competitive. Overuse and repetitive motion injuries can be caused by repetitively moving a part of your body too many times, stressing too much your joints, muscles, or other tissues. Symptoms are pain, swelling, or tenderness in an overused spot.

The best way to heal from that is proper resting of the joint or muscle that hurts. After the pain goes away, restart the exercise slowly.
