grading done!!

Hi there,
a quick note to let you know that I successfully graded yesterday. So I now have my black tip (1st Kup) so have 6mths to concentrate on getting up to speed for my black belt grading. It certainly felt good to get it out of the way. I blitzed the breaks!!
I got them all first attempt, except the front snap kick, but I managed to get that in the end too. Will have to work on my technique there. I have received multiple tips on more pivot, more snap, aim lower on the board etc so I have a bit to sort through and see what makes the difference for me.

My hand is improving slowly from its injury. I did see a doctor, no structural damage, just a lot of deep bruising. I didn't have to do any breaks using hand techniques on the weekend so I will rest it thoroughly before facing up to the hoo-doo of punching boards again.

Thanks for the support and encouragement that I got through this forum, I'm sure it helped a lot just to know that I am not the only one on the planet sweating and concentrating over things like this.
