So we wear heels to dress up, anybody ever tried doing a kata in them?

Any fancy kicks? Fast footwork? I wonder how many times the women in Charlies Angels fell trying to shoot those scenes.

I think what we wear is very much a part of self-defense. Articles of clothing should be assessed in context of contributing to or taking away from your ability to defend.

Doc Martins are the best! The classic "Waffle Stomper". I've got 2 pairs! I caught one in the chin after hitting the floor during a big air stage dive at a Napalm Death show. Split my chin wide open!

I didn't know you were into mosh-pitting, Tony? I always wanted to try jumping into the mosh-pit but figure the support may not be adequate. Image

My girlfriend does a mean hyung in platforms and a mini. Boy, I'd hate to be caught with her heel kick in those things! Or stilettos/sidekick, even worse! spear...foot?

They look rugged enough to conceal a homemade .22 barrel.

As for clothing, i rarely wear skirts and pants that are consricting around the knees or too stiff to move easily. As for shoes, i personally wear slip-on type clogs or tennis shoes. I never wear shoes with heals because of the self-defense aspect. Only my thoughts, SJR

The 008's look real feminine, Tony. Wouldn't want to be on the conecting end of one of those.
