Heather Lipin and I traveled down to Atlanta this weekend to follow up on a 2 year old promise from summer camp to visit Bruce and his students.
We had two great workouts, met great folks and we were impeccably hosted by Bruce, his beautiful wife Erica, and 4 amazing children.
Thank you again Bruce for your hospitality, training, and torturous leg drills!!! We particularly remember the standing counts on our shokens & sokusens.
It was a wonderful trip. Hopefully we'll all see each other again at camp this year.
all the best,
Dana

Hi Dana and Heather:
It was great fun having both drop by Atlanta and visit with us. You both left the best possible legacy in the dojo ... my students are definitely thinking about what you two explained about your current approach on delivering power, etc. This is a sign of a true artists ... your work (art), when displayed
a) Makes other reconsider what they are doing
b) Causes people to examine dearly held assumptions and/or
c) Generates contraversy.
All of this is good for my students (and me, of course). Keep makin' waves ...
And as for the family ... you both are now part of the family.
Ciao,
Bruce
P.S. -- the leg drills were apparently not so tortuous ... after all, both of you walked briskly into the airport after I dropped you off rather than making use of wheel chairs ... apparently I must be getting soft in my old age!
