Check out pictures of Dana (picture one and three), Heather (left on picture one, back of head picture three) and Vicki ( right in distance on picture four).

Mid-Atlantic Regional

How 'bout that combat face from Dana!

You can always expect to find the best and most dedicated at the regional workouts. Image As for the rest of you, you are always welcome.

Yes! Thanks, Alan. Great shots of Vicki, Heather, and Dana.

Also a U.Va. Uechi white belt in the 2nd photo. The woman to the right of her (brown belt woman in the black gi) was a professional accupuncturist, practicing Uechi out of Rik Lostrito's Kenyukai Uechi school.

BTW, your's truly is behind the red-gi sensei in the second photo. And I believe the shorter fellow to the left is Mark Keller, instructor of the U.Va. Uechi group.

No question about it. These women are serious about what they do.

"Pocket Pistol Dana" How about that!

Heather will surely make you pass through a wall, and Vicky has a smile on her face while she tries to pound Dana into the ground.

Looks like a great regional.

And while she doesn't visit these forums - Adele Levine was also at the workout. She is a nidan from our dojo and founded the Univ. of Maryland dojo when she was going to Physical Therapy School there.

When she was leaving for her clincial affiliation, she took the initiative to contact Sheldon Dunn and bring him in to teach, so that the students would be able to continue to train.

Adele is another one of the women from my dojo that kept me inspired & working hard as I came up through the ranks. She is at the center back of the 1st photo (next to the other guy in a red gi)

And she is also in the 1st photo on Bill's thread wit her back to the camera, and you can just see her face in the second photo on the left hand side.

She is an abosolute tiger on the floor, and a competing tri-athelete outside the dojo. She simply never tires out - even during sparring.

Great photos Alan, thanks.

Oh...and did I mention there were some pretty cool guys there too? Image
