Lone Wolf:

I want you to change! I want you to stop the Straw Man jabs. I want you to move up to our levels, not drag us down to yours!

I want you to stop being 3 years old.

I want your posts to mean something other than insult. I want you to let us know why the unsupported meanderings of an anonymous poster with a grandeous Nom De Net and unknown qualifications should be taken seriously. I want more than your opinion: I want your experience, evidence, proofs, reasoning.

You persist in the fantasy that it's what you post rather than how you post that is the problem. Read Van Canna-Sensei's posts, for an example. Canna-Sensei is at least 7th Dan, by all accounts one powerful SOB who can and does make kata work for him - yet after seeing a NHB match he has advocated grappling training as well.

Why have people not reacted to his opinions as to yours? IMO it's because he is unfailingly polite to people and we know his qualifications and openness; thus, when he states a departure of position, we take notice, with reason! He quotes from such non-traditionalists as Peyton Quinn and Tony Blauer; Tony even posted personally on Canna-Sensei's Forum with great praise for its openness and elevated manner of discussion.

(Full disclosure/disclaimer: I correspond with Tony, study his tapes and material. Discount for my favorable bias here.)

And then there's you; not polite, nor qualified, nor open, nor elevated.

J.D has done an adequate job of dissecting your latest missives so I won't add to it.
If you cannot or will not change; yes, I want you to stop wasting our time. Yes; I would not miss it at all, then, if you left. Grow up or get out. Your choice.

Duane C,

Interesting how you post on a Topic that has degraded to mere name calling and mud slinging.

How odd that you do not post on the two other "serious" topics that I started.

So far you have only exhibited childish behaviour. I do not wish to play your games. I grew up a long time ago.

I do post to serious topics. That they are not yours does not diminish anything, unless your great ego is bruised.

Doc,

I'll take your post as an eloquent way of saying that you want me to Stay.

Duane,

Is that a Yes or No?

J.D.:

FYI, the soi-dissant Official Witch Of Salem, Massachusetts' name is spelled Laurie Cabot.

It is unknown whether she speaks to the Lodges at all, let alone only to them....

Wolves are pack animals and live in a social structure. To be a "Lone wolf" means that one is outside of the structure. Usually, there is a reason that one needs or is forced to go it alone.

LW, just when I thought you may be able to function within a structure, you went and proved otherwise.

Oh well, feel free to howl at the moon. The pack is moving on.

My my, what a lively weekend we've had!

Let's put this thread to rest as it has lost it's constructive momentum.
