Damn! pretty acrobatic. The chimp could have competed in the open tournament, musical form competition yesterday. Aerials and 360's were apparently basic compulsories.

Obviously the instructor was TKD. He certainly did an incredible job of teaching the chimp. And yes, it is highly entertaining.

Not to blaspheme TKD but...I'd a LOT rather face this chimp doing those techniques than doing what he would do if he really wanted to fight from raw instinct and ability. These animals have several times the strength of humans, and they don't mess around when they want to hurt you. Seriously, this was like bringing coal to the Arabs.

I have to admit, that was pretty amazing.
However, I wonder if the chimp was responding to the instructor's voice commands, or weather it was a choreographed set of techniques the chimp had memorized.

I think the chimp was the product of early attempts at cloning TKD genes.

I'm somewhat surprised that the chimp was comfortable performing spinning kicks. Sense primates have greater upper than lower body strength, I would have thought it would be more comfortable punching.

Instead of taekwando, the chimp would be better suited to a tumbling sport, such as judo.

However it's agility could also be used in caporia.
