Gene, yeah, but the govermnet could sell the leftovers really cheap to fisherman for chum and put the money gained into the Whitehouse Coffee fund.

Another, even better idea is for the government to hold civilian firing squads for terrorists (both international and domestic). The shooters are chosen via a $5.00 lottery ticket and the proceeds are dumped back into the economy somehow. The winners will be flown to the location, wined and dined for a couple days while being trained and then enjoy a morning of loud reports and bloodletting! I think it's a great idea!

I'm all for unconditional love- and not torturing criminals- but I have a hard time not agreeing with some of the "consequences" mentioned due to the fact that these people threatened children. They tortured parents and the whole community- those men had no regard for human life- young or old. It's hard to hold mercy for someone whom would be more than willing to kill a child - let alone people in general.

"treat others as how you would be treated."

Yeah- they tortured people themselves- they should expect nothing less.

In the interest of being PC, some that read the forums are opposed to capital punishment.

I therefor suggest that they be punished in a non-lethal fashion.

In the name of payback and punishment, let them be shoot at 20 paces with a BB gun.

Not a lethal punishment, but painful.

Let everyone who had to live with the fear, apprehension in the area of the shooting have three shots.

Three bb's never killed anyone.

Now let see 5 to 7 million people get 3 shots each. That's 15 to 21 million BB's.

1. Invest in the Daisy Rifle Company Image

2. If the weight of 21 million bb's just happens to crush the Sob's we'll just claim it was an unfortunate accident.

Y'know those people who say things like "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy"? Well.... I'm not one of them.

These dirtbags didn't just threaten a child, they shot one. Imagine if it was your wife, husband, or child getting sniped right next to you.

I truly want to hang them by the balls. And I mean that litarally. The PC'ers can KISS MY ASS!!! I hate the term PC and I want to kick the inventer of the term in the nuts.

Put the hangings on public display and announce NEXT! Then lets see if it's a deterent.

Here's another idea... I think I read somewhere that way back when martial arts were first coming into being, some Indian prince would try diffrent techniques on slaves to see if they worked. Hmmmm...

That's already been tried. For centuries, that's what we did. Hasn;t stopped crime.

PC? No. Measured and civilized? Maybe...

Hey guys, I was not advocating torture for the fun of it, or, for that matter, torture at all. I was (simply?) saying that these sweeties had something to give back that might make up in part for the lives they had taken. Hanging them by the balls does not send a vital organ to someone who needs it.

Man, and I thought I was out of control for wishing them into a maximum security prison repleat with lonely Bubbas. A different kind of target practice... Image

You guys almost make me feel civil in my quiet rage.

Meanwhile, I am taking great pleasure in seeing 5 different localities "fighting" over who can prosecute and convict and punish the fastest and the most effective. I'm all for them getting the best representation and the finest due process. Heck, give them Johnny Cochran for all I care. Only then will the final punishment be truly meaningful in the eyes of a civilized society. No excuse will be good enough. The right thing is going to happen here, no matter how much we spot them. Yes, they are that evil.

The irony of someone presenting himself as "god" being silenced and out of control of his destiny is so very sweet.

Hi Gene!

To address your question, "how"? How did they torture people? Although I'm surprised by the question- I figure that shooting at anyone any time including children- is in itself torturing people. They were not quick and painless deaths either. For the person shot or their families.

My husband was describing a recent "Twilight Zone" episode, which starred Lou Diamond Phillips. In the show, he kept having these re-occuring nightmares about being shot- the pain, the confusion the whole bit. At the end of the show it turned out that "he" had been a killer, and his punishment "in this future time" was to spend five years experiencing what he inflicted on others.

I thought of those snipers. Imagin what would happen to the crime rate, and people who do these kinds of things, if that's the punishment they faced. "Getting treated as they were treating others..." Watching his wife, child, whomever being shot, experiencing their pain...." Might make a bad guy think twice.

When God said 'Vengeance is mine', I wonder what He had in mind.

You could always put them on Howard Stern where they could be grabbed, squeezed, prodded or whatever along with his verbal insults (just a preview of things to come....nah, Tony is right - put them on the wheel.
