Dojos/gyms in San Diego

I am headed to San Diego This Wednesday and staying through the weekend.

Any suggestions about MA training places to visit -- karate, jujutsu, FMA. Trying to figure whether it's worth packing a gi.

Thanks,

David,

You're welcome to join Sensei Ahti Kaend's class in garden Grove (1 hr. drive from San Diego) Classes are Mondays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Please call Sensei at 714 894-5627 if you are interested.

Additionally, Sensei Jerry McDonald is located in San Diego, CA: (858) 538-5088
I am not sure of his class schedule. Give him a call.

JD/MikeD,

Thanks to you both. I don't anticipate renting a car so I'll give McDonald sensei a call. Image

Here I am in not-so-warm, not-so-sunny-southern California. And I packed by shorts, running shoes, sticks, workout gloves but NO gi. I forgot. Image

I see one uechi club listed. Different number listed from sensei McDonald's. Is this another instructor?

Well, don't know if it's worth dropping by just to WATCH.

Surprisingly, didn't see any listing for FMA schools. Anyone know if there is one around.
