Whats so great about BJJ?

Post by Knuth »

I have never seen it in action but everbody raves about it. How does it compare to the more traditional Oriental jj and is it all that different in the first place? Thanks

Ryan,

I think we have covered this topic before, although I can't remember when; however, instead of answering this question in what would probably be incomplete at best, I think I will defer to Joe Pomfret if he's reading this. He's probably one of the best in this area and would give you a more complete rundown on Brazilian Jujitsu.

Ryan,

Sorry, I should have included this on the other post. As soon as Joe answers your question, we can then compare it with traditional Jujitsu styles of past and present.

Thanks a lot T Rose, I guess I missed that down there. That thread pretty much said every thing I wanted to know.
