trip

Just wanted to say I hope my two students who are off to Japan shortly have a GREAT trip and bring us back a whole lot of memories.

The Kokusai Budoin is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Tokyo, Japan and the party, workout, and tournament ought to be wonderful all around. This world-wide organization is sponsored by the royal family and today's president is Mr. Tokugawa of the Tokugawa Shogunate heritage.

Gene DeMambro and Dewey Schramm are making the trip (God, am I jealous) to work on their Nihon Jujitsu with Master Sato and to work their Judo at the Kodokan (Dewey just received his Shodan in Judo).

Well, just wanted to wish them luck and a safe trip!

No apartment yet, Fred. But if their economy ever gets out of the dumps...
