Sunday Grapplers Update

I just wanted to keep those interested updated on how the Sunday morning sessions have been going.

We had 11 people show up the first week and that number grew to 15 this past week. The make up of the class has been mostly men (1 woman) that have varied martial arts backrounds. Practioners from Uechi Karate, Kung Fu, Kickboxing, Wrestling , Kenpo and Judo, Brazilian jiu jitsu have all participated some of them are former and future NHB participants. Many of the participants are high ranking instructors and school owners.

Of course skill level varies. Those individuals that have a grappling backround having more mat time intially have an edge in experience. The overall goal for all of us remains the same. To become better, more well rounded martial artists by developing a skill set that will help us dealing with fighting on the ground.

For those who have thought about and are intersted in training the workout is at Khoury's Karate Acadamy, starts at 9:30 am and is free of charge.
