Hey, whats up whats up,

Why the need of a hurried reply? Anyways, mind, body, spirit in Japanese is not Sanchin. Although I am no language authority especially Japanese sanchin has been interpreted to mean many things.
The aspect of mind, body, spirit is what one hopes to develop from learning and practiceing sanchin.
Keep on training and develop all three in hopes that it will make you stronger and a better person.

Welcome to the forums Whatsup,

Mind in Japanese is Shin, I think body is Karada, and I think spirit is Supiritto.
so mind, body, spirit is Shin, Karada, Supiritto.
Not sure about the last two, definitely best to find someone fluent.

To the best of my knowledge Sanchin means 3 battles/conflicts.
San = 3 (ichi, ni, san....)
Chin = battle/conflict

I definitely agree with RachelL about the development of mind body and spirit.

Good training,

I would certainly check that, although I'm pretty certain, I don't guarantee it, I definitely could be wrong.
Good Luck,

Hello everyone, i'm fairly new to this forum and i say hello to you all and may I befriend you all very soon. :)

And in reply to your question: Yes, Sanchin are the 3 conflicts and the 3 conflicts are mind, body and spirit.

In the native belief there are four elements not three: Mind, Body, Spirit and Emotion

Now i have a question for all of you: does emotion fall under spirit in your opinion, or does it have a full caption of its own?

hmmm that's a tough one, but I'd say yes, I put emotions under spirit.

Do you say that because you believe that Spirit can Influence emotion as Body can influence objects in the material plain, or do you think that Spirit IS emotion...saying that they would be one in the same?
