I am assuming the New England Spring Dan test will be March 20th, are there any new requirements for this test (different from previous tests)? Will the sparring be the "point sparring" or the more free flowing variety of the past? Is this the first test that will require the "Pass Books" how will that work?
any help would be appreciated.

I noticed that the NE chapter of the IUKF is requiring students to be pretested by a master instructor (http://uechi-ryu.com/oldsite/iukf/standards.htm), what if your instructor is a master instructor? Is it still required?

New England IUKF's test dates
That would make the N.E. test date March 21st. We are working on a test location and assembling the test board. Watch the home page for details."The test dates were agreed as the 3rd Sunday in October and March, and the annual test at the Summer Camp."
