Sandan is 2nd degree, right? So a 2nd degree black belt in brazilian jiu-jitsu is doing a seminar? I am a little confused, because that is a Judo school... who is giving the seminar?

Joe,
I don't know all his ranks but he holds rank in gi on and gi off BJJ, Muay Thai kickboxing, Karate and some other stuff.
And yes he is teaching at a Judo school. The Judo school also has Russian Sambo guys teach on ocassion.
He has his own school in Somerville.
He has some guys going into the Vale Tudo and NHB fighting ring.
You wouldn't be disappointed. He is a talented guy.
He teaches with the gi for the sake of us Judo guys. :)

He teaches at the Brazilian Martial Arts Center in Somerville normally.
