On my forum it is more of a call based on personality, mannerism and common courtesy, fairness be damned.

It is really simple to remember:

My forum is not a public forum, it is a private forum, essentially my home where well-mannered persons from the public segment are invited to visit as my guests.

In the martial arts, as in life, interaction with one another begins and ends with RESPECT!

I would prefer that the guests use good manners and common courtesy with one another in arguing their points of views. Because of human nature, this is not always possible, and when it happens I encourage the ‘players’ to resolve any differences amongst themselves first.

From time to time I will step in and take whatever action I see fit to resolve animosities. Fairness in the way I choose to do it has no bearing on decisions, so please don’t waste my time with allegations of unfair treatment, and cries of ‘censorship’ __

This forum is not about personal attacks, style attacks, and accreditation attacks.

You do that and several things will happen:

1. You will be banned without explanation and your post deleted.

2.If you are counterattacked, I may decide to let it stand, in which case it is matter of “reaping what you sow”

3. You get personal with any of us, and you will be gone, your posting privileges taken away without explanation.

4.When that happens, don’t bother going to Gem “crying foul” trying to get to me behind my back, because it won’t do you a bit of good.

5. Don't send me any email or personal messages to discuss your deleted posts, your revoked posting privileges, or to complain. If you do, I will either ignore them or post them on the forum for all to see.

The best way for you to get tossed out of my home and or banned completely is to get “wise” or “cute” with me, your host and moderator. What defines those two terms is strictly a judgment call I make based on a personal basis.

If I suddenly don’t care to have you in my house as a guest anymore, whatever the reason, you will be escorted out and, usually, you will not be given any reason, much as you might believe you are entitled to one.

So there you have it, you don’t have to like it. You can simply turn the page and get on another forum or web page on the net.
