Thai Pads

Post by Brian Barry »

I'm looking to get some Thai pads for me and my guys to work some combinations on. I'm looking for something durable, but economical. Thoughts?

Brian,
Try Rev Gear in California. You can probably find their info on line. Their stuff isn't really cheap, but it is really well made. We use thai pads a lot in JKD and when I bought cheaper ones, they never lasted. Rev-gear has two pairs, we use the less expensive ones for around $70 a pair. Once in a blue moon they will run a sale for $50.

Support a local supplier . . . fantastic striking pads at a great price. http://kodorainternational.com/

We've been using their striking pads and other equipment at the "Hut" for over a year and are very happy with the quality and low prices.

FairTex are also great.

The other brands that have been posted are not really that great for "thai" style training but if karate is your agenda then they should work fine. I get my made from a company in Montreal and we get them for about $100 Canadian.
