Search engine needs work!!!

HEEELLLPPP!!!!

I have noted for some time that the search engine for these forums don't work. You can search on a word or a phrase, and you get what it wants to give you. I cannnot seem to limit the search to a specific forum. And I cannot seem to reverse the order of the search so that it comes back with the earliest use of the word or phrase first rather than the latest.

Any help out there?

Here's another great one: When you're in the forums and you click on "home" it takes you to the website host's website, not UechiRyu "home"!
Lame.

Plus, the script buttons in the forums when you're replying etc., don't work for italic, quote, etc.
Lame.

Correct. Search has been down a long time. Don't hink it has ever worked.

Maybe site has been affected by "prearranged work"

I never noticed that the search wasn't working right. It's a side effect of having converted to this software from ultimate bulletin board a few years ago. I'm rebuilding the search index, which is going to take a good few hours, but after it's done, searching should work as expected.

A short cut I use is to highlight the text (same as you do as preparing to copy) and then click the quote, bold , underline button etc...works fast and easy
