San Diego Part II

Post by Dana Sheets »

10,000 thanks to the West Coast Uechi folks who came together on Sunday for a wonderful workout and exchange of ideas.

It was just great to finally meet Joe Graziano and his students. Thanks for hosting the workout Joe and for your corrections. Also thank you for sharing your dojo, your students, and your stories!

It was also good to see Paul Haydu and Brant Christianson again. And thanks to Brant for the extra workout and for introducing me to Ralph.

That was definitely one of the best weeks of travel I've ever had for work.

If I can ever get my email to accept Brant's attachment I'll post up a picture from the training.

Happy and Tired and Back in DC...thanks again guys!

Dana

Hey Dana,

It was great to finally meet you and work with you. Your fine reputation that preceded you was if anything surpassed by your enthusiasm, attentiveness and energy in person.

Dana, you're a fine practicioner and person with great depth. Keep up the tremendous devotion to your study! Everyone enjoyed working with you and sends their regards.

Gambatte Kudasai,

Joe

Thanks Joe.

And if any of you forum folks haven't met Joe or seen him train - he's got some of the best karate I've seen. Not saying much coming from a Sandan and all - but you can really see that Joe and put in the hours and focused his attention on good, smart training.
