To our Vets and to those who serve

Post by Bill Glasheen »

I want to take just a moment to thank all of those who served their country honorably, or who are today doing their part to keep us free. We can never thank you enough for your sacrifices. On this and every day, your service is appreciated.

And thanks for making what we do here relevant.

I second that! Thanks, Dad, who served in Vietnam...thank you for fighting to free others as we are free. Thank you to all of you who serve to protect our country, our freedoms, our beliefs.

God bless and keep you.

Happy Veterans Day!

Regards,
Vicki

My Dad served in Vietnam, as a physician, and my sensei served a little later in Korea .... thanks to both of them.

And to all of the others who serve(d) as well.

We had a wonderful Veterans Day celebration/assembly today at my high school. Lots of vets attended, some from WW2. Also a recent grad just 10 days out of Marine Boot Camp @ Parris Island. One of my Physics students went to US Army camp over the summer and is a PFC ready to go the day after graduation. That is a serious commitment for a 17 year old.
