Better than the rest.

Post by Norm Abrahamson »

Dear Folks:

I would like to pass along my condolences to all of you American sports fans who have the misfortune of living outside of New England. During this past year the Red Sox won the World Series; the Celtics won the NBA championship; and the Patriots played (poorly) in the Super Bowl. Is it difficult for the rest of you to know that there is little or no chance for your local teams to reach the top of the mountain? This may sound like gloating, but only because it is. Isn't it amazing that just by virtue of my being a fan, I am in a position to gloat despite having little athletic ability of my own and having actually accomplished nothing athletically note? This is a great country, at least if you live in this neck of the woods.

Smugly,
Norm Abrahamson

Here Here ... especially on the Patriots!

They played poorly indeed. I'll concentrate on F1 until football season next year.
