Dear Bill and Crystal, thank you for your thoughtfullness. I appreciate the gift of the rose in honor of my father.

I will plant it and think of Bill, Crystal, and my father every time it blooms.

May it change the intense sadness someday to joy, and may I smile when I see it, instead of thinking of all the past memories that sadden my heart.
