North Carolina Forces Internet Tax

First domino to go; 49 left. The newspaper article says NC is levying Internet tax whether resients owe it or not.

That makes me glad i didn't move to N.C.!
But I agree it's only a short time away from the other 49. States understand they are losing some big cash to net sells. Texas has a simular tax on phones sales at something like 8.75%
Let's hope other states don't follow suit like N.C. and use a little better tax method.

I lived in Charlotte twice, and consider NC and Charlotte desireable places to live.
Granted, some things aren't as advanced as the industrial Northeast, but that is part of the beauty.
The unsavory words I read in the article were that NC citizens are being taxed by the state EVEN if they do not owe anything to the governor. I think I'll get some tea from Boston Harbor.
