Several times I have posted replies on forums, but I can't see what I posted.
I wrote something to David Elkins, and notice the post count is 5, and yet all I see is his original post.
This type of thing happened to me earlier on another post, somewheres, but I blew it off. Is there a bug? in the forum?
Whatsup?

Allen,
This has happened before a dump of the browsers cache and a refresh seemed to have fixed it for me.
Also noticed your link is defectinve in your sig.

Test ignore the above unless you are a RR customer and enjoy a good laugh

Chuck,
I know you replied because I got an email notification, and the post count incremented, but I cannot see your post.

Here is a new one! As you all know, we've been trying to get Bob Campbell back on-line for months. He finally gave it a try yesterday, but gave up after a number of problems which are documented below. How could he possibly have so many problems? GEM
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>Dear George
My efforts, as well as 2 other staff in my office, in attempts to log onto or get into to

as well as trying
http://www.xpres.net/~gmattson/ubbs/
we went no where, we only could access endless advertising rubbish, it may be that is what people like to do & fuss over endless questions and useless options for services or purchase but if I am too be effective, I really do not have the time to sort through a maze of questions only to be repeatadley sent back to a point of the log-in process where if one does not take the services or log onto purchases, you can not get in to the forum.... I gave up frustrated and 2 others in my office who do this stuff all day faired no better.
Sorry

Hmmm...
This is the first time I had this specific problem with non-visible posts that I can recollect, Anthony. Last night and the night before. Things seem to be ok now, maybe I'll see this when I post it, maybe not.
George, can BC get into your homepage?

I had another problem in the wee hours of the morning. While trying to get into this, the techie forum, several posts from Van's forum displayed themselves. At the top right of the screen, there is a folder hierarchy which also reported what I was seeing.
If these forums were written in 'c', I'd say there was a loose pointer.

Allen,
I the ubbs code is "Perl script" from what I've seen its close to "c". Also could be a timeslice thing the CPU could be missing a beat when you hit the site causing strange things to happen.
Who knows,

Chuck.
I remember the old forums, you could always tell a week in advance when it was going to crash. These are much better now and seem to be much stabler.
BTW, Thanks for commenting on my signature link at the bottom. It looked weird, but still worked.
