The Screamin' Athlon 800

Just read the specs on the newly released Athlon 800 on a 200 MHZ system bus. Wow! Visit AMD's website at http://www.amd.com .


I am still within the 14 days to return the Coppermine (just thinking, just thinking)...

(Anthony, we need something crafty and devious-looking in the UBB face library)

Hmmm... I'll bet my year-old DELL 450MHz PC and the remains of my 300MHz SCSI Pentium setup sell-off could come close to almost no cash out for this baby.

Problem is, are these Athlons REALLY available with the 200MHz motherboard, or is the ad just a teaser.

Saw that today.
The 200MHZ motherboards are there.
Now if you can get them is another story.
http://www.biostar.com.tw/products/mainboard.htm They have a mobo with the VIA chipset and one with the <ahref="http://www.amd.com/products/cpg/athlon/chipset.html" target="blank">AMD</a> chip set.
http://www.fic.com.tw/motherboards/sd11/sd11intro.htm Also has a 200Mhz board They mixed the chipsets.
Mmm bleeding edge? YES boardering on hemoridgeing YES!!
