Scott:

I didn't make myself clear. If what I've heard about cable service is true, the more active subscribers in the neighborhood, the slower the service.

Cheeze, GEM, you know how to ruin the fun, don't you! I was going to host a BBQ party in celebration this evening, but now, no thanks.

Get out! Back! Back-off. Get outta here. Get away from the goodies! Neighbors go home!

Time to look for that big dish pointing to the sky!

Allen,
Don't worry your cable won't be overly-affected by your neighbors. Most of the Cable problems happen from the ISP's screw-ups.
Tony-San and my self can vouch for RR's problems being related to them not bandwidth.
We live on the space coast (east coast) and for anything we are routed to Orlando then Tampa which is the west coast then out to the net. That's a long trip to get out and a lot of area for problems to happen.

Still the speed is awesome when it's there and makes a 56k connection seem like a 14.4

Right now i'm downloading 3 albums at 180KB per second (Kreator and King Diamond, ROOOOAARRR!!!!!).

Tommorow it will probably be 40KB per second so i'm staying up late and taking advantage of the speed while it's there.

I just turned this thing on a few minutes ago and downloaded over 100 pieces of email, some with graphics, in a few seconds -- WOOSH!

Incredible, none-the-less
