Hi Scott,

Used to be the forums had a nifty although not often used announcement feature that was at the top of all the main forum pages... I saw a place on the control panel for posting announcments and tried one to see if it would appear on demand... but no juice.

I just thought I'd bring it up because it would be a way to make forum wide announcments - such as the request for everyone to post a specific place for the highgear suits..

Maybe there's a switch somewhere.

Hi Lori,

There still is an announcement area on the control panel. If you can't get it to work, let me know what the announcement is and what forums you want it to appear on. When you want it to start and when you want it to end.

You know I'm only to happy to oblige.

Hey Scott - wasn't thinking of this so much for me as for Mike Murphy's CPR class and the movement to get all the highgear suit purchase committments... I just thought a forum-wide feature might apply to those instances...
